Gone Fishing offers all types of fishing in many environments – reef, river, estuaries, coastlands, headlands, sweetwater and islands using lure and live bait fishing methods for all the great Northern fish – Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Fingermark, Mackerel, Trevally, Bream, Queenfish, Grunter, Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Nannygai and Tuna.

Regular flights operate between Cairns and Cooktown.
“Gadget” – our estuary / coastal vessel – a custom-built 6 metre Hooker boat with a 140hp Suzuki outboard, electric motor and 2 live tanks. Gadget is equipped with the latest Garmin technology. Gadget can accommodate 4 anglers in the river and 3 for reef fishing.
3/4 day charters are 6 hours and operate generally in the mornings. Your charter is timed to make the most of the tides and fishing.
Please make sure you bring a packed lunch with you on all charters as we only supply cold drinks. All charters include quality tackle, bait and refreshments. Gear is provided on a lost and replace basis.
